NOW FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN SWEDEN!
One day, rebellious teenager Sibylle is caught shoplifting erotic books. The bookstore owner is also a publisher, and now Sibylle challenges him: “I can definitely write better sex stories than these, you should publish them!” The problem is that Sibylle lacks sexual experience, so she has to learn by sneaking a peek at what others do. And soon she is ready for more tangible research – to seduce the attractive but more than twice her age publisher…
Nelly Kaplan's A YOUNG EMMANUELLE is based on the novel Néa by Emmanuelle Arsan, who also wrote the book behind the smash hit Emmanuelle starring Sylvia Kristel. Ann Zacharias was 19 years old at the time of filming and had just made her breakthrough in Jan Halldoff's The Last Adventure. She also starred opposite Louis de Funés in A Flea in the Soup and was often in the celebrity press, first for her marriage to Sven-Bertil Taube, then for her cohabitation with Ted Gärdestad.
"Young Ann Zacharias and sensual Sami Frey are brilliant in the leading roles. I love this film" Film Quarterly
"A curious tale of sexual freedom. Finally a radical film that is tempting, smart and alive" Time Out
