DARKNESS HAS FALLEN IN THE SJUMILASKÖGEN
There comes a time in most children's lives when they say goodbye to their toys and pretend friends. This is a natural process and part of growing up. Christopher Robin was no exception. One day he left the Seven Mile Woods and said goodbye to Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit and Owl for the last time. What if the friends thought Christopher Robin would come back? But the days pass and turn into weeks, months and years without them seeing their friend again. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet become increasingly bitter and abandoned. They begin to plan a gruesome revenge against the one who would never let them down: Christopher Robin. So when one day, several years later, he feels nostalgic and returns to the enchanted surroundings of his childhood, it is not a warm reunion that awaits. The fine Winnie the Pooh and Piglet have grown up into real beasts with murder in their eyes. This bear has developed a taste for human flesh.
In Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, the Seven Mile Forest has darkened and become a place where dreams die and innocence is erased. The cute characters many of us know from books and movies are now murderous beasts who want nothing more than to tear people apart and cause a pig feast where blood is mixed with honey.
Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey is the horror film that, after a successful trailer release, became so popular that it took second place on IMDB among the most anticipated films of the year. The great interest now means that Winnie the Pooh – Blood and Honey gets a big theatrical release in the US and that the filmmakers have been able to focus on making a bigger, more lavish and above all bloodier film than they originally planned. AA Milne must be spinning in his grave.
