SENSUAL AND INTELLIGENT ABOUT FRANCE'S FIRST RESTAURANT

France 1789. The talented chef Pierre Manceron tumultuously leaves his employment with the Duke of Chamfort after a humiliating insult in front of the Duke's noble guests. Having suffered from all things cooking after the insult, he quietly manages his farm by the country road. Until the day when a young woman who has heard of the master chef appears and demands to become his apprentice. Reluctantly, Manceron agrees to pick up the apron again. A decision that leads him and the young protégé to start France's first restaurant, a place where everyone, regardless of origin, can enjoy the highest art of cooking. They create their own independent business, at the same time as the winds of revolution begin to blow through the country.

A film that sets a sumptuous table of strong emotions, enjoyment of life and humor at an exemplary high pace. Fantastic costumes and historical settings and of course lots of scenes with delicious dishes that make your mouth water. Delicious is a film for all lovers of life!
