Thinner (Retro Film)

Lawyer Billy Halleck can hardly claim kindness and justice as his guiding principles. So when he accidentally runs over and kills an elderly woman from a travelling carnival, he uses his connections in the courts to get himself off the hook. Instead, punishment comes from the Romani woman’s relatives, who place a curse on him. Suddenly, the severely overweight lawyer can eat as much as he likes and still lose weight. And fast. A dream come true at first, but Billy soon realises with mounting terror that he will waste away and die unless he takes drastic action…

THINNER is directed by Tom Holland, who was hired because Stephen King is a huge fan of his horror hits Child’s Play and Fright Night. The astonishing makeup effects are by four-time Oscar winner Greg Cannom (Dracula, Vice and more). Robert John Burke (Tombstone) stars, and look out for Stephen King in a cameo as a pharmacist!

On Blu-ray in Sweden for the very first time!
