When a young schoolgirl is reported missing, Inspector Howie is sent to a remote island in Scotland to investigate. At first glance, the small town seems idyllic, but he soon discovers that most people have a lot to hide. The investigation leads Howie, a true Christian, into the arms of a secret cult with an appetite for barbaric sex, pagan rites and human sacrifice. Will he be able to stop the cult's murderous rampage or will he find himself face to face with the ultimate horror... THE WICKER MAN?!
