The Klansman (Retro Film)

HARD-HITTING ACTION FROM TERENCE YOUNG, DIRECTOR OF THE BIGGEST BOND HIT OF THEM ALL: THUNDERBALL!

UNCENSORED VERSION! MUTILATED FOR ITS SWEDISH CINEMA RELEASE WITH SIX CUTS TOTALLING THREE AND A HALF MINUTES!

A small Alabama town becomes a seething cauldron of violence when a Black man is accused of raping a white woman. She is married to a member of the Ku Klux Klan, whose members once again don their white robes and light up the night with burning crosses as they set out for revenge. Anyone will do, as long as they have the “wrong” skin colour. Caught in the crossfire are the town’s sheriff, Bescomb, and liberal landowner Stancill, who do everything they can to restore order as the town descends into a war zone!

Hard-hitting action from genre virtuoso Terence Young, who directed three of the first four Bond films. Lee Marvin and Richard Burton lead a star-studded cast that also includes O.J. Simpson (The Naked Gun), Cameron Mitchell (The Toolbox Murders), David Huddleston (The Big Lebowski), Linda Evans (Dynasty) and Bond girl Luciana Paluzzi (Thunderball).
