“MY FAVORITE AMONG ALL WAR ADVENTURES” QUENTIN TARANTINO

With its ultra-cool anti-heroes, raw humor, and action scenes harder than granite, The Inglorious Bastards is a surefire favorite for Quentin Tarantino, who used the film as the basis for his own version of the same (but oddly spelled) name. This is the uncut original in which Tarantino's favorite Gothenburger – Bo Svenson from Kill Bill – plays the leader of a group of prisoners of war who are to be transported to a concentration camp behind Nazi lines. During an attack on the convoy, the scum manages to escape and accidentally wipes out an entire platoon of their own soldiers. Now it's up to them to take over the squad's mission – to prevent a Nazi train from delivering a diabolical weapon of mass destruction that could change the outcome of the war. Suddenly, the Allies' only hope lies with a group of murderers and deserters!
