ONLY WHAT YOU WANT IS REAL

Executive Producer – Oscar and festival winner TERRENCE MALICK ( The Thin Red Line , Tree of Life , Heavenly days etc.)

Eva leaves her brilliant career as a doctor to study medical history at a distant university. She wants to be able to focus on understanding her own nature, her body, her illness and her destiny. There she finds The Book of Vision , Johan Anmuth's 18th-century writing about the conflict between the new rationalism and the ancient trust in nature of animism. Anmuth's method consisted of listening to his patients' hopes, fears and dreams, rather than relating to the traditionally scientific. Eva is inspired and absorbed by all these stories and visions and begins to question the differences between present, past and future. Only what you wish for is real, not just what actually happens.

Opened Critics' Week at the Venice Film Festival 2020, official competition at the Sitges Film Festival. With an ensemble cast consisting of Sverrir Gudnason ( Love Me , Castle , Gentlemen , Phoenix ), Charles Dance ( The Crown , The Imitation Game , Game of Thrones ), Lotte Verbeek ( The Black List , Outlander , The Coldest Game ) and Isolda Dychauk ( Berlin Station , Borgias ).
