Survive

After spending two years in a mental health facility, young Sophie has been discharged. Rather than restoring balance, her time in the institution has strengthened her conviction that she does not want to be there anymore. Sophie makes the decision to take her own life in the airplane toilet during the flight home. However, a series of elaborately cruel twists of fate derail the plan. The plane crashes. Sophie is one of two people who survive the accident. Together with the other, a boy named Paul, she must fight the elements and her own self-destructive impulses as they try to make their way through the snow-covered landscape to civilization.
