For Stroker Ace, they enlisted the help of Police Academy creator Hugh Wilson to ensure a hilarious script. Reynolds plays racing champion Ace who spends a lot of money on chicks and booze and therefore lands a big sponsorship deal for a giant chicken. Unfortunately, he fails to read the fine print, where he agrees to wear a chicken costume and have his Ford Thunderbird painted with the words “Fastest Chicken in the South.” His fellow competitors cackle with laughter, but Ace has to use all the cool (and uncool!) tricks to escape the chicken coop…
