DARK AND UNCOMFORTABLE HORROR COMEDY

Cecilia and Emma were best friends during their teenage years, and nothing would ever come between them. Until Emma's new friend Alex showed up, and made Cecilia her new bully. When Cecilia fights back in self-defense, Alex is left with severe facial injuries. The incident created a rift in Cecilia and Emma's friendship. A decade later, the old best friends run into each other. Cecilia is now a popular influencer on social media, and despite everything that has happened, she is invited to Emma's bachelorette party in a remote cabin in the country. Although out there, she is now forced to hang out with her old tormentor Alex from high school. After all the years of scarred face, she now has a taste for revenge on her old bully. She makes Sissy's weekend a living hell.

Sissy is director/writer/actress Hanna Barlow's second film, and her previous directorial debut. For Now together with director Kane Senes was nominated for best film at a number of different film festivals.
