In the basement vault of a long-abandoned church, a mysterious vessel is found that generations of priests before our era have guarded since time immemorial. But its liquid contents are older than that. Perhaps several million years. Under the leadership of a Catholic priest and a group of young scientists, the find is examined on site. When night falls, everyone soon learns that the vessel has an inherent power beyond human. The macabre deaths follow one another with such unimaginable brutality that the power inside may very well belong to the purest of all evil... Satan himself!

Carpenter assaults audiences with more visually powerful nastiness than ever before in PRINCE OF DARKNESS.
