Panama is inspired by real events during the 1989 U.S. invasion. Here we meet former Marine Becker (Cole Hauser) who is tasked by his old boss Stark (Mel Gibson) to complete an undercover arms deal. While navigating the chaos of the civil war, Becker and Stark must fight assassins and negotiate with the enemy to complete their mission and try to get home alive.

Mel Gibson, of Braveheart , Lethal Weapon 1-4 and Apocalypto , is back with a new film filled with insane action from director Mark Neveldine, who brought us the action-packed Crank , Crank: High Voltage and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance . At his side, Gibson has none other than Cole Hauser, who is recognizable from the acclaimed TV series Yellowstone and the films Running With the Devil and Acts of Violence .
