In the midst of the peace and harmony of Christmas Eve, Detective Inspector Johan Falk finds himself in a violent gunfight with robbers in the middle of central Gothenburg. Two people lose their lives while the notorious leader of the gang, Leo Gaut, escapes. Leo is an ice-cold and intelligent criminal who now tracks down the witnesses and threatens them into silence, but he also manages to make Falk appear as the culprit of the shooting. Wanted and on the run, Falk is now being hunted by his own colleagues…

ZERO TOLERANCE is the first of three independent films about Johan Falk that have caused a sensation in Swedish action. The worn-out term “Good for being Swedish” was conspicuous by its absence among critics and the film was nominated for five awards by the Guldbagge jury (Best Film, Direction, Cinematography, and Best Actor and Supporting Actor). After the films, Johan Falk has also starred in seventeen television films and in novel form.
