Nightmare Symphony

Director Frank (Frank LaLoggia) is having increasing trouble finishing his film A Peacock's Tale . And nothing gets easier when someone starts killing people ostensibly inspired by his work. But is this real or just the product of an overheated and stressed-out brain?

Nightmare Symphony is a bloody nod to Giallo in general and Lucio Fulci's A Cat in the Brain in particular. Extremely prolific director Domiziano Cristopharo ( eROTik , The House Guest ) gives us a killer in a bird mask (à la Georges Franju's masterful Judex or Stage Fright by Michele Soavi), and extremely stylized violence in a genre homage that is further enhanced by music from Antony Coia and a leitmotif by none other than Fabio Frizzi.
