Minor Premise

" One of the best sci-fi films of recent years " - Forbes Scientist Ethan has stood in the shadow of his brilliant and dominant father Paul throughout his career. Together they have run a project to map the brain's capacity and the interplay between basic driving forces and the shaping of people's personalities. Now Paul has passed away and Ethan is struggling with grief, dark memories and bringing the project to fruition. There are long days and nights in the basement lab with coffee and alcohol as fuel. When the university management demands to see results, Ethan is driven to desperate measures. He conducts an experiment on himself as a laboratory animal. The result is that Ethan's personality splits into ten parts with different agendas that take command of his body in six-minute intervals. The clock is counting down to disaster as each completed cycle causes him brain damage. Will he have time to solve the problem and become whole again before it's too late? Feature film debutant Eric Schultz gives us smart and claustrophobic sci-fi with a premise taken from very real research. Screenwriter Justin Moretto has degrees in brain research and biotechnology that come in handy in this intricate story. The lead actor Sathya Sridharan has been praised by unanimous critics. At his side we see Paton Ashbrook ( House of Cards ) and Dana Ashbrook ( Twin Peaks , Late Phases ).
