The sequel to the mother of all enlightenment films features, in addition to sexologists Inge and Sten Hegeler and Maj-Briht Bergström-Walan, a number of doctors, psychologists, priests and porn king Curt H:son Nilsson. The film is an open depiction of homosexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, pornography, the disabled and sex, the elderly and sex, drugs and sex and sex in connection with pregnancy.
More from the Language of Love, like The Language of Love, was a great financial success. The Swedish film censors wanted to cut certain scenes from the film, but the company appealed and the government ruled in their favor.

The film has been digitally restored by the Swedish Film Institute.
