A RIDE THAT CAN CHANGE A LIFE

It's an unusually bad day at work for taxi driver Charles. Traffic tickets, a troubled economy and a shaky marriage hang over his head like a dark cloud. So stress is just the first name of what he feels when his latest customer insists on a long detour with several stops. But the elegant older woman in the car starts telling him about her life. Madeleine's stories give Charles something else to think about. The irritation is soon blown away. The taxi takes the mismatched couple on a journey back in time that gives new perspectives on the present.

Memories of different places and people around Paris are the beginning of a warm friendship across generations in Christian Carion's emotional, moving and funny Madeleine and the Taxi Driver .
