During World War II, American Robert and Italian Antonio were best friends. Forty years later, the now stressed and pill-crunching Robert returns to Naples on business and by chance runs into his charming, life-loving friend. Once again, the now graying gentlemen are drawn to each other and Antonio makes his friend pause the squirrel wheel for a while to just enjoy life. But how is it that half the town seems to know who Robert is? The time has come for Antonio to reveal a secret he has carried for 40 years…
