Little Nelly loved her grandmother dearly. Now she is dead and her mother Marion is having a hard time coping with the grief. So when the family is going to clean out her grandmother's home, the memories become too strong. Mother cannot stay. She runs away. Left alone with her father, Nelly goes on an exploration in the forest behind the house. There she meets a girl her age, who, like Nelly's mother, is named Marion. There is something mysterious and extremely familiar about her. The thought is dizzying. Could she even be Nelly's mother... as a child?!
