Filmmaker Gabin Rivoire has followed house and techno pioneer Laurent Garnier on the road for several years with his camera. The result is an intimate portrait of a man who lives for and through music. But the film is so much more than just a tour diary. Thanks to archival material and interviews with people like Carl Cox, Pedro Winter, Seth Troxler, Jeff Mills and Derrick May, we get a picture of his entire career and the rise of house and techno music from the 80s to the present. For more than thirty years, Laurent Garnier has made people dance and get lost in clubs and festivals in Manchester, Paris, Berlin, London, Barcelona, Detroit, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. This is not only Laurent Garnier's story, it is also a depiction of the rise of the entire rave and EDM culture from the 1980s to the present day and a celebration of the community and joy of life that music and dance bring.
