Good Boy

TRUST INDY’S INSTINCTS

Good Boy is a unique chiller told from the perspective of Indy the dog. Indy’s owner Todd (Shane Jensen) is seriously ill, and the pair leave the city for an old house in the countryside in search of peace and quiet. Inherited from Todd’s late grandfather (Larry Fessenden), the house has a dark history, and rumours persist that it is haunted…

Good Boy has attracted attention for its unusual approach to filming horror from a dog’s perspective, mostly at Indy’s eye level, creating an intense and distinctive “dog’s-eye view”. We experience the terror through the dog’s senses, where every shadow and sound becomes a threat. Good Boy combines moody, atmospheric horror with jump scares. Indy is played by director Ben Leonberg’s own dog, bringing an authentic canine performance to the screen without CGI effects.
