Just as coltsfoot has bloomed and emotions are vibrating in the spring air, bank director Marcus Arwidson receives a perfumed love letter. He is beside himself with happiness. But what he doesn't know is that the letter was actually intended for the famous opera diva Osvald Berg. The sender is the giggly, lovely ballet girl Maj Bergman, whom Osvald has treated like air until now. But then Maj gets the idea that someone should play love with her to make Osvald jealous. And who do you think this assignment is for? Exactly, Marcus! And he does it very convincingly – he doesn't have to play…
