Midwife Lena (Evgeniya Gromova) has a seemingly good life. She is respected by both colleagues and grateful patients at her fine clinic, has been married for a long time to actor Sergei (Aleksandr Pal) and they live in a nice area. All the markers of success are in place. But behind the successful facade, something is amiss. The marriage is loving and close, but the couple's sexual relationship has long left much to be desired. So when Lena begins to suspect that Sergei is cheating on her with a colleague from the theater, she immediately decides to take revenge and picks up the first best man she meets.
