High in the mountains of Provence, teeming with people heading to the annual Romani festival, a Hungarian scientist is on the run. In his possession is a secret formula that could affect the future of several nations. The secretive adventurer Bowman and the cool photographer Lila are assigned to protect the scientist on his way to the plane to New York. But powerful forces are after the formula and they will stop at nothing to get it, so the road there becomes a bumpy ride with death as a fellow passenger.

David Birney plays Bowman, Charlotte Rampling is Lila and the cast also includes Michael Lonsdale (Bond villain Hugo Drax in Moonraker). Geoffrey Reeve, who also filmed MacLean's Puppets in Chains and Full Speed to Death, is in charge of directing.
