Vincenzo is a middle-aged, sad gentleman who has dedicated his life to his small bookstore in Paris and to his daughter, who lives with him above the shop since she had a violent accident. One day, Yolande bursts into his shop, a young beautiful woman bursting with life, desire and humor. Charmed by her vital energy, feelings awaken in Vincenzo that he did not think he was capable of feeling anymore…

We Who Loved Each Other So Much, A Very Special Day and Ugly, Dirty and Mean… Ettore Scola made some of the most beloved Italian films ever. In 2016, the legend passed away at the age of 84 and his last script was not filmed. Now his friend and fellow director Sergio Castellito has filmed the script with himself and Oscar nominee Bérénice Bejo (The Artist) in the lead roles. The daughter is played by Matilda De Angelis (The Undoing).
