“A TERRIFIC FILM WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORYLINES… EVER!” Quentin Tarantino
“AS ENTERTAINING AS CASTELLARIS THE INGLORIOUS BASTARDS” Radio Times
1940. After heavy losses, the Allies are forced to evacuate their soldiers from Dunkirk back to England. But on board the boats are several German saboteurs dressed in British uniforms who now manage to infiltrate the forces. Their mission – to sabotage the new British radar system that previously prevented the Nazis from bombing London!
Frederick Stafford (Hitchcock's Topaz) and Van Johnson (The Caine Mutiny) play two officers on the hunt for the ruthless saboteurs in London. The film is directed by Enzo G. Castellari, who also made the Tarantino favorite The Inglorious Bastards. Both the aforementioned film and this one served as inspiration for Tarantino's own Inglourious Basterds.
