“IMPRESSIVE ACTION” DVD Review

DJANGO is one of the greatest and most acclaimed spaghetti westerns of all time. In the years after its premiere, cinemas were filled with over 50 (!) films that stole the name Django and cannibalized the blockbuster. But there is only one true, official sequel and of course it is FRANCO NERO who plays the main role here too. The biggest fan of the hero is of course Quentin Tarantino who made a huge success with DJANGO UNCHAINED in 2012. It was also a film that free-rided on Django's name, but it at least had Franco Nero in a small role as a tribute.

After living a life of bloodshed, Django retreats to a peaceful life as a monk. But years later, he is approached by a former mistress who reveals that he has a teenage daughter. Now the girl has been kidnapped by the sadistic slave hunter "El Diablo" to be sold as a prostitute, so Django does not hesitate to once again dig up the coffin where his machine gun is hidden...
