In the small coastal town of Antonio Bay, people are preparing for their 100th anniversary. At midnight, the town is filled with an ominous fog and in it an unpleasant surprise from a bygone era is hidden. Exactly one hundred years ago, a ship sank here after being lured onto the rocks by evil men looking for the boat's gold cargo. Everyone on board drowned. Now their ghosts return armed with sharp swords, knives and boat hooks to take bloody revenge... THE FOG was John Carpenter's first film after his breakthrough with Halloween two years earlier. Once again, he chose Jamie Lee Curtis for the lead role, who plays opposite his mother Janet Leigh, forever remembered from the shower murder in Hitchcock's Psycho. The film is now being released in its best version, digitally restored in 4k with superior sound and picture quality.
