BOX COMPLETE WITH ALL HILLMAN FILMS. PLUS LOTS OF BONUS MATERIAL.

Loved! Long-awaited! Finally, the legendary Hillman detective stories are back in a unique DVD box set – now packed with even more bonus material! After detective John Hillman and his wife Kajsa had great success in radio plays, Arne Mattsson had the idea to make a feature film. "The Lady in Black" with Karl-Arne Holmsten and Annalisa Ericson as the Hillman couple came out in 1958 and became a resounding success. Four more films would soon follow – also enormously popular – which set the standard for everything that suspense stands for in our country. These are the films that no true detective story lover should miss!

The Lady in Black (1958) Detective couple Hillman go on vacation to Holmfors, where a young woman has just disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Could the local eerie legend of the murderous Black Lady be true?

Mannequin in Red (1958) A mannequin is found dead at the fashion house La Femme and the detective couple Hillman are called in to find the murderer. The film has been digitally restored by the Swedish Film Institute.

Rider in Blue (1959) During a party, landowner Elly witnesses a murder, but when she calls for help, the body is gone. Since John Hillman is away, his wife and assistant Freddy take on the case.

The White Lady (1962) At Stortuna Castle, a large inheritance causes a sudden death when the lord's fortune goes to his second wife and their daughter, while the other children receive barely anything. At the same time, a woman dressed in white haunts the castle.

The Yellow Car (1963) During a bus trip abroad, John Hillman and his fellow passengers witness an attempted assassination of a city manager, which begins a spiral of unpleasant events.

Green for Murder (1957) A train driver's daughter asks the Hillmans to investigate the events surrounding a mysterious train accident. Radio serial in four parts.

Bonus material: Interview films and commentary tracks for all five films, with Annalisa Ericson, Nils Hallberg, Anita Björk, Gio Petré, Jan Malmsjö and Lennart Lindberg moderated by film journalist Ronny Svensson, movie trailers, still image galleries and a unique bonus CD with Torbjörn Lundqvist's film score.
