Breakdown (Retro Film)

While married couple Jeff and Amy are driving their Jeep from Boston to California, the engine breaks down in the middle of nowhere. A helpful truck driver offers Amy a lift to a roadside diner to call for help while Jeff stays with the car. Then Amy vanishes without a trace. An increasingly anxious Jeff begins searching, but the locals refuse to talk and the police are no help. Entirely on his own, Jeff must overcome his fear and find his wife in a desperate, increasingly dangerous race against time.

Never previously released on Blu-ray, or even DVD, in Sweden, this acclaimed thriller is one of the most requested and eagerly awaited titles. Kurt Russell and Kathleen Quinlan (Apollo 13) star as the couple, with Jonathan Mostow (U-571, Terminator 3) directing.
