When the two women Sascha and Maria meet at the brothel in Berlin where they both work, sweet music immediately arises. A few weeks of intense passion and happiness follow. But soon the drunken joy clashes with the expectations and demands of reality, as well as Sascha and Maria's own emotional baggage. Will they be able to find their way back to each other again?

Far from the usual glamorization or stigmatization, director and screenwriter Henrika Kull's second film gives us an unsentimental look at the often controversial subject of sex work. Here it is depicted without any major embellishments and the focus is instead on the relationship between the two main characters. Katharina Behrens and Adam Hoya's performances have been praised for their raw authenticity by a unanimous international body of critics. The music is by Dascha Dauenhauer, who previously composed the acclaimed remake of Berlin Alexanderplatz .
