FROM THE SCREENPLAYER OF FRENCH CONNECTION.
"A CLEVERLY STAGED CAR CIRCUS! THE SHOWDOWN FOR THE TANKS TO SPIELBERG'S DUEL" Göteborgs-Posten
A ship arrives in San Francisco from Palermo. On board is a large, valuable 18th century cross that is a gift from a mafia boss to the bishop. But the cross has a cavity that hides a large shipment of heroin. Someone is out to trap the boss, who now assigns his lawyer Ulysses to find the culprits. To help him, he takes his old buddy Charlie, a notorious rally star who doesn't slow down for anyone! The action carousel takes them to Italy and spins faster and faster until everything explodes in the classic car chase starring two tanker trucks!
BLÅST PÅ 20 MILLION brings great nostalgia to many. The film was the first major video success in Sweden that everyone with a video camera snatched off the shelves. Roger Moore was at his peak as 007 at the time and the script was written by, among others, Ernest Tidyman (Oscar winner for French Connection) and Randall Kleiser (Grease).
