Sean and Derek are two petty thieves who specialize in taking jobs in restaurant parking lots, with the goal of ransacking the homes of wealthy guests while they are away. During the burglary of the wealthy Cale Erendreich, Sean finds a secret door that he worships. Horrified, he now witnesses a badly injured woman strapped into a torture chair. In a panic, he flees to contact the police, but when they arrive there is no trace of the victim. Tormented by the realization that Sean left the woman in the lurch, he and Derek are forced to investigate the case themselves, but Cale knows who they are...

THE LOCKED ROOM is an infernally exciting thriller directed by Dean Devlin, who as producer and screenwriter was behind blockbusters such as Independence Day, Stargate, Godzilla and The Patriot. Cale is played with icy coldness and perfect precision by David Tennant, multiple award winner for Broadchurch and A Killer Among Us, and Sean is played by Robert Sheehan from The Umbrella Academy.
