When a home-recorded sex clip is posted online in an unguarded moment, it creates enormous problems for teacher Emi. After being reached by the news, she navigates a Bucharest that has become even more chaotic and inhospitable during the pandemic and tries to sort out the situation. But the guardians of morality want something else and soon she finds herself the focus of a merciless people's tribunal consisting of outraged parents, her own colleagues and "committed citizens". The farcical trial takes place outdoors, of course, under strict social distancing protocols. Emi is determined not to give in to society's strangely selective moralizing without a fight!

Prolific director Radu Jude ( Aferim! , I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians ) in his latest award-winning film, with a sardonic twinkle in his eye, once again takes aim at human madness, double standards and other things that make life, if not worth living, at least laughable. The result is a broad and inimitable satire not only of our pandemic times but of so-called civilization in general.
