On a small island in the Pacific Ocean, a plane crashes with a very special passenger on board. The secret he carries could mean the end of World War II. Captain Kelly and his elite special forces are tasked with finding the man before the enemy does, and quickly bringing him to Allied soil. But against them, the small squad has hundreds of Japanese soldiers ready to do anything to stop them...

ATTACK FORCE Z is a dense and violent war film inspired by true events. Captain Kelly is played by Mel Gibson, who two years earlier had a breakthrough with his iconic role as Mad Max. He is accompanied by the always excellent Sam Neill as well as John Phillip Law, John Waters and Chris Haywood.
