A GREAT ADVENTURE OF JOHN BOORMAN WHO MADE THE LAST JOURNEY
Ten years ago, guest worker Bill Markham's seven-year-old son disappeared without a trace in the endless rainforests of the Amazon. Year after year he returns to the jungle to search. During yet another expedition, Bill and his companions are attacked. Badly wounded, Bill manages to escape and suddenly comes face to face with an Indian warrior, armed and in battle paint. This man was once his son, but now belongs to a completely different world...
John Boorman (The Last Journey, Excalibur) has directed this exciting and thought-provoking film, based on the true story that journalist Leonard Greenwood retold in the media. The father and son are played by Powers Boothe (Southern Comfort) and Boorman's son Charley. In Sweden, the film was a box office success with over 180,000 visitors.
