The powerful industrialist has become very rich on a piece of junk that you can scratch your ass with. Unfortunately, he is a wicked devil, which causes his son to try to murder him. This fails, whereupon the father, quite unexpectedly, throws his son into the lake. There he happens to get caught in underwater plants, but soon adapts to sea life and hibernates. With the spring tide, he is washed ashore - to a world that is completely changed...

Hasse Alfredson's wonderfully absurd feature film debut mixes fairy tale with biting satire. Max von Sydow, Birgitta Andersson and Gösta Ekman excel as father, mother and son. Hasse himself also plays a memorable role. The film was awarded a sensational number of awards at the Tomelilla Film Festival, where the film was the only participant.
